As most of you know by know I'm a qualified beauty therapist and makeup artist, this being the case every year I get invited to special events my favourite being the International Beauty Expo where brands from all around the world come together and allow us therapists to buy at stock price. Wooo!
I must admit, this year I walked away with alot less than I have done previously but I guess that's what happens when you already have everything you need. Never the less, I ended up with a few bits and bobs that are just for myself and not for my clients.
• Vu Tan Tanning Mousse in Dark- For spray tanning ourselves and clients we use the brand Vu Tan- which is created by Techno Tan but because there are too many salons in our local area using techno we had to opt for their second tan, I personally have tried everything from Organic tans that have been imported, naked tan, vani-t, Tuscan tan, St Tropez you name it but this is and will continue to be my favourite.
• Batiste Dry Shampoo Fresh- I love the scent of this, it smells like coconut and vanilla mmm. These were 2 for $5 so of course, I did purchase more than one. Whoops!
• The next 2 are small bottles of Vu Tan Liquid- I did actually purchase full salon sized bottles but they're too big to put on my side table so I put the tiny bottles up instead. I got a 8 hour tan in light and a 2 hour tan in medium. I normally opt for the 2 hour tan in medium.
• Ruby Wing Colour Changing Nail Polish- More on this one later. Love it!
• OPI Just Beachy Mini Collection- Cajun Shrimp (More than your average coral), La Paz-itively Hot (Hot Pink), Pamplona Purple (A Summery Plum) and No Room For The Blues (Vivid Denim Blue)
• La Roche- Posay Effaclar Purifying Gel Cleanser and Effaclar Duo Corrective and Unclogging Anti-Imperfecting Care- Again, these are mini sizes however I did purchase full salon sized products which are massive!
Last but not least- this was not from the expo but I stopped in at Sportsgirl because they had a clearance on the way home and along with the many clothes and accessories I bought there I picked up this Spray Tan Mitt for only $2! Thank God I didn't purchase one at the expo because I would have ended up paying $10 for one there. This works wonders with my new Vu Tanning Mousse, it helps apply it even more evenly and most of all the tan doesn't stain my hand! Yay!
That's all for today lovelies. Let me know if you're going or have been to a beauty/makeup expo before and how you found it.
I hope you're all having a lovely day or night wherever you are and ill be blogging to you soon. x
