As August is here and the sun starts to make its appearance for Spring (Remember, I'm in Australia!) I can finally start to pack away my winter woolies and bring my springy clothes to the front of my wardrobe. This is always an exciting time for me because I hate winter with a passion, except my birthday.
So that all being said today, I decided to paint my nails an amazing spring colour!
This is MUD's Peachy Keen colour- cute name right? The colour totally lives up to the name too, it's a peach with a hint of orange coral- my type of colour.
As much as I love OPI's polishes sometimes I can't justify spending the $18-$19 it costs for one bottle where as MUD only costs *drumroll please* $2! And the quality is amazing-
• Dry time is super fast
• Colour payoff is intense (2 coats needed for this colour!)
• I personally don't think the 'nail polish' smell is that strong.
• Easy to work with brush and lid
• Lasts 8-12 days without chipping or peeling.
I don't think there's ever a time where I don't go to the shops and grab a new colour or two or three. Whoops!
Along with my peachy keen nails It was an amazing 'sprinter' day here (Yes, that was my mix of winter and spring seeing as its just around the corner). I think it topped about 23 degrees Celsius here which by all means isn't shorts and a singlet type of day but I was able to wear this without being the slightest bit chilly.
My Black and White Peplum Top is from Supré and it was $25 down to $10!! So I bought another patterned one which I'm sure you'll see soon.
I'm also wearing Plain Black Leggings which where from Target- I have a whole bunch of these as I tend to wear leggings more than jeans and these are thicker types of ones. I'm pretty sure they're around the $15 mark.
I'm wearing Black Lacey Ballet Flats, the detail isn't that great in the photo but the sides are laced and there's a bow on the front. I got these from ruby shoes.
My hair is ombré done in the salon quickly blow dried and left out with my shorter front layers pulled over as a fringe and my lipstick is a Chanel Rouge Coco number- I forget, I'm also wearing the Urban decay naked 2 palette on my eyes, MAC's blush in dollymix which I'm sure is discontinued now (sorry!), Rimmel Wakemeup foundation, MAC studio fix powder and my ring is from Prouds!
That's all from me guys. I hope you're all having a lovely day or night wherever you are and ill be blogging to you next Monday. xx
