Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation

I'm sure you've read a review of this foundation somewhere or walked past it at the store and thought 'should I or shouldn't I?' That's exactly what I was doing for weeks until I gave in and grabbed it and now I'm on my third bottle- whoops!

Now, I have to admit I am a 'High End' product type of girl but if I can be a savvy shopper and get something that's level with a high end product for much cheaper then count me in!

This has defiantly become my holy grail foundation and I hope that rimmel keeps it around for ever and ever without changing the formulation! Want to know why i love it then keep reading and you'll find my pro's and con's..

Pros-
- Super good price (this is normally $19.95 but I've been luckily enough to get it for $9.95 or $12 in chemist warehouse and Priceline)
- Really gives the skin an 'awoken' dewy look due to the slight light reflecting particles in the foundation
- Suits a Normal-Combination skin (I wouldn't suggest a super oily or super dry)
- Flawless buildable medium to full coverage
- Has an SPF of 15
- Easy to work with and blend
- High end type of bottle being glass and slightly heavy and with a pump! Rimmel sure knows how to make things easy!
- Smells delicious with a slight fruity scent
- Photographs well

Cons-
- Only 8 colours in the collection
- Ivory colour comes out slightly darker than your average ivory foundation
- Lasting power isn't that long id say 6-7 hours (I powder mine with a mac mineralize skin finish to give it that extra few hours without removing that dewiness'
- More of a yellow based with only a few pinks in the collection
- Light reflecting particles can accentuate your pores if they are already on the slightly large side

There's been loads of times I've been out and about and someone's said to me 'your skin is flawless, you must be super lucky or are wearing an extremely expensive foundation' that's when I tell them to head to big w and grab one for themselves. I've even added these to my makeup kit for when I'm doing clients (incase you didn't know- I'm a makeup artist and beauty therapist!)

Anyway, I hope that has helped you decide if you're going to stop at that bright orange lid that's on the shelf in the rimmel section of your local store or keep walking. If you have tried it please comment below with your thoughts on it and if you have tried the concealer (I'm still contemplating that one!)

I hope you've had a wonderful day or night wherever you are and ill be blogging to you tomorrow! xx.
