September Bellabox Opening!

It's that time of the month where a blue box arrives at my doorstep calling my name and waiting for me to open. That's right, bellabox time! And Bellabox you've really gone above and beyond this month. 

This months Bellabox was themed 'Spring Party Essentials' and sponsered by Cleo Magazine. As soon as I heard that I was more than excited. 

Was I let down? Nope! Far from it.

The products I'm most interested in are well- All of them! I think the foot cushions are going to be great for work as a beauty therapist I'm on my feet all day, the tan will be amazing to add to my collection and try as I haven't tried it yet and the nail wraps are to die for- super cute! 

I think this is the best bellabox I have ever recieved now I'm off to read my Cleo Magazine. Thankyou Bellabox!

DIY Avocado and Honey Face Mask

As much as i love going out and buying that facial product that everyone has been raving about i do also love to make my own.  One that i really love is this Avocado and Honey facial mask.

When i make my own facial products being a mask, scrub or moisturiser i feel better about knowing exactly what is going into the product and onto my face. You never know about those store bought ones- they may claim to be 90% natural products but, um excuse me, what is the other 10%?? 

To make this mask all you need is

~ 1/2 a ripe avocado

~ 2 Tablespoons of honey 

~1/2 a Teaspoon of coconut oil

And then..

Puree or mash the avocado until its smooth and creamy, then blend in the other ingredients. Apply the mixture onto your face avoiding the eyes then lay back and relax for 10-15 minutes - i love listening to some soft music whilst doing this. I mean why not? Treat yourself! Once the time is up rinse off your mask with warm water and a face washer, this will help exfoliate at the same time.

This mask is used by celebrities all around the world, its great for dry skin although any skin type can use it. The avocado and coconut oil provide a great moisture balance whilst the honey helps to heal and sooth any redness on the face.
